Lake View Gardens started 9 years ago as a personal garden. Sue and Dirk wanted to grow and preserve their own garden produce to hedge their food budget.  In the process, they grew more produce than they could use, and decided to take it to farmers markets. It was at this point that they decided to make Lake View Gardens their retirement plan, and they added a line of kitchen products to their market offerings. Customers can purchase pepper jams, salsas, pickles, sriracha and mustard, homemade egg noodles trail mix, granola, freeze dried treats and homemade ice cream in addition to garden produce.
