Slow Food Wind River is a nonprofit hub for local food in the Wind River Basin, and Meadowlark Market & Kitchen is one of its branches.

At Meadowlark Market + Kitchen, our mission is to build an abundant, resilient, and valued local food system that supports our landscape, our farmers, ranchers, and food artisans, and our community.

Slow Food Wind River strengthens Fremont County’s local food system by supporting the people who grow, raise, and make our food.

Our Market

Through Meadowlark Market, our year-round indoor farmers market, we showcase over 100 local producers and more than 1,700 seasonal products—from ranch meats and fresh produce to baked goods, body care, honey, eggs, artwork, and more. 80% of every dollar spent at Meadowlark Market goes right back to the producers in our community, and directly supports Wyoming producers, keeps money circulating in Fremont County, and helps create the resilient food system we all want for our families and future

Our Kitchen

Our Shared Kitchen gives food entrepreneurs a licensed, affordable space to create and expand their businesses. Between kitchen rentals, pop-up dinners, cooking classes, and special events, we’re making it easier than ever for community members to support local, eat local, and build a thriving food economy.
